Today we began reading Chapter 9 in All Quiet on the Western Front.
All classes ended at the top of page 226. On both Tuesday and Wednesday we continued watching the 1930 film. We took notes of the differences, and had class discussions about these differences each day.
Today we took a vocabulary quiz.
Then we began watching the 1930 film adaptation of All Quiet on the Western Front. We took notes on the differences we noticed between the book and the film so far. Today we discussed Chapter 7 and transitioned into reading Chapter 8. Please finish reading Chapter 8 for homework this weekend--you have max two pages!
Today we continued work on reading Chapter 7 and answering the study questions. Questions are due tonight on Turnitin.com by 11:59pm.
Today we began reading Chapter 7, which is our longest in the novel, clocking in at 50 pages. We are reading silently during class time. This should take approximately two days. Below, please find the study questions, which should be completed as you read. These can be worked on in class on Chromebooks, and will need to be submitted online to Turnitin.com.
Today we finished reading Chapter 6 in All Quiet on the Western Front. We then did the reflection writing found below. This was due at the end of class (or can be finished for homework, but who wants to dwell on graphic war descriptions for homework?).
Today we:
1. Took Vocab #4 Quiz 2. Took AQ Chapter 5 Quiz 3. Started reading Chapter 6. New vocabulary is located in it's own permanent drop-down menu above. No homework. Where are the posts from October 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 16? Please check in with Mrs. Hopkins regarding anything during this time. Ooops!
