Today we reviewed our handout from Act I, Scene 3 of Julius Caesar and then stapled and turned in all of our handouts so far. Today we had some time to review our handouts and the text, and then we took a short, objective quiz on Act I. Prepare all of your handouts for Act I over the weekend and be ready to turn them in together on Monday (yes, stapled, in order). We will go over the Scene 3 handout at that time. Mrs. Hopkins created a new drop-down Julius Caesar page, full of resources. It has a link to the complete text of the play, links for the audio version we are listening to, as well as a complete list of all of the handouts we have done so far (including downloads). This page will be updated regularly as we progress through the play. Today we reviewed the yellow worksheet and went over some of the ideas we came up with for the Roman coins. Today we finished reading and listening to Act I, scene 2. We completed our yellow "Meet the VIPs" handout (we will review this in class later), and were given a green handout called "Heads or Tails." This handout has to do with the design of Roman coins.
