WE WENT OVER SO MANY THINGS TODAY!
Today you got back your Paragraph Portfolio scores. Below is a chart on how your score on the 4-point scale was converted into a grade percentage. Essay Scale Percentage Conversion Chart After every major writing assessment this year, you will be expected to do a writing reflection assignment. You can earn ten points back to your Paragraph Portfolio grade by completing the reflection! Regardless of whether you want the grade improvement or not, you MUST complete the reflection, as there will be a separate score for it as its own assignment. Paragraph Portfolio Reflection You received the prompt for the All Quiet Essay. This is due online Sunday, November 27 by 11:59pm. Please evaluate yourself on the essay rubric and turn that in on Monday the 28th. A couple things to note:
Today (Tuesday) we continued watching All Quiet. Today we had a quick review of the Critical Film Review assignment, and then continued watching All Quiet.
Today we had a class discussion about what we have watched so far in All Quiet. We compared the 1979 version to the novel, as well as to the 1930 version. Then we continued watching (just about ten minutes or so).
